A Captain Underhill puzzler and thriller
(and Fenway Park time capsule)

The Boston Red Sox haven’t won the World Series since 1918. Zachary Devlin, an up-and-coming catcher and hitter, may change all that…but first he’s got to survive his first game in Fenway Park. Someone is sending notes to the Sox’s general manager, proclaiming in broken verse that if Devlin plays in the annual Cape League exhibition game, he will be killed. Luckily for Zack, Captain Underhill is a big baseball fan, and he’ll go to any lengths to protect the kid…including suiting up for the game himself.

Counting House is an intriguing ‘baseball murder mystery’ wherein Captain Underhill not only saves a young ball player’s life, but ‘reverses the Curse’ by removing ‘The Curse of the Bambino’ from the Red Sox. This program was produced with the full cooperation of the Boston Red Sox, and features the real Fenway Park, the real Fenway organ, and such notables as former and current Red Sox radio announcers, Ken Coleman , and Joe Castiglione.
