Hello. My name is Robrert Cockerham. I am a customer of CCRMT. I just ordered the new one The Mermaid On Halloween Bridge. I've never written a review before. I'm not sure what it's supposed to typically contain. So, I'm just gonna tell you about it in my own words. The very first time I ever heard anything by by CCRMT was maybe...sometime in the early to mid 90's. I picked up an package of assorted cassette tapes of different radio shows. Five or six of them I think. One of them was by CCRMT-The Curse of The Whales Tooth. That show was then, and still today remains my favorite show. Since then, I have ordered The Bakers Dozen from CCRMT with included that story. Which until then I hadn't heard in years. I absolutely LOVE the Captain Underhill stories. So when this new one came out; The Mermaid On Halloween Bridge, I had to order it. I couldn't wait to hear it.
I put the CD in my player with antcipation. As I listened to it, it started out different. I had Captain Underhills voice doing the intro. And then I was waiting for Captain Underhill to come into the picture. The story was still good, but it didn't have it's usual flair of suspence and excitment that it normally does. It was a very slow moving story until the very end "AFTER" Captain Underhill came into the picture. I was a bit disappointed in the story, but not totally put off by it. I had the potential to be much more exciting and on the edge of your seat suspence than it did, but it just wasn't there. But then, that's just MY personal opinion.
Sincerely,
Robert Cockerham
